OLYMPIA, Wash — A suspected Olympia drug dealer was arrested Monday, Jan. 6, after detectives connected him to the overdose death of a 16-year-old in December.
The man is being held in Thurston County Jail on $200,000 bail on a charge of controlled substance homicide. KING 5 is not naming the man because he has not been formally charged.
Aaron Ping, who identified himself as the father of 16-year-old Avery Ping, said that amount “sounds low to me.” He encouraged the judge to set an example with this case
