Suspected DUI driver arrested after vehicle ends up in Dyes Inlet

Deputies said the driver admitted to drinking but “said he didn’t know where he was until he realized his feet were wet.”

TRACYTON, Wash. — Deputies in Kitsap County have arrested a man for suspected DUI after he apparently drove his vehicle into Dyes Inlet on Tuesday night.

In a release, Kitsap County deputies said they responded to a car in the water call around 10:20 p.m. Tuesday. Deputies found the vehicle submerged in Dyes Inlet several yards from a boat ramp.
