The homeowner estimates the suspect caused approximately $100,000 in damage.
LYNNWOOD, Wash. — Lynnwood police say a teenage driver in a stolen car barreled around a neighborhood corner Monday night, crashed through a fence, and plowed into a home under construction.
They suspect he was under the influence of alcohol.
“He was coming about 40 mph and this is the damage,” says homeowner Joe Jain, pointing to a large dent in the side of his house.
From the outside the damage doesn’t look all that bad, but inside tells a different story.
