The suspect’s SUV is described as possibly a newer, dark Jeep, according to Vancouver police.
VANCOUVER, Wash. — On Sunday, an unidentified man attempted to abduct a child at a park in Vancouver. A good Samaritan intervened causing the man to release the child and take off, according to the Vancouver Police Department.
Police said the suspect attempted to abduct the 11-year-old child at Lieser Crest Park on Virginia Lane around 3:40 p.m. but let go of the child when a witnessed intervened. The man took off in an SUV described as possibly a newer, dark Jeep headed north on Fredericksburg Way.
