TUKWILA, Wash. — A man accused of stabbing a 16-year-old to death in a Tukwila parking lot faced a Washington judge for the first time since he fled to Utah.
Jose Antonio Cedeno-Ponce, 20, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to second-degree murder in the 16-year-old’s death. A judge granted bail at $2 million after the prosecution argued the suspect is a flight risk and a danger to the community.
A witness said two groups of juveniles arrived at the parking lot of Tukwilla Village, a senior living facility, on the afternoon of Jan.
