The expected final 70 and 80 degree days of 2024 are upon us.
SEATTLE — The autumnal equinox arrived on Sunday, and as the season formally turns to fall, the warm weather is expected to wind down this week.
Highs in western Washington are expected to linger in the mid-70s and low 80s on Monday and Tuesday this week, but autumnal weather is expected to become the norm for the foreseeable future.
The National Weather Service (NWS) says Seattle’s average final 75-degree or higher day of the calendar year is Sept. 25.
