The calendar may still say summer, but fall is in the air in Seattle with the arrival of cooler temps and Starbucks’ fall drink menu this week.
Despite what the calendar says, there’s one particular type of coffee that reigns supreme this time of year and signals the unofficial beginning of fall: the pumpkin spice latte.
Roasty Coffee, a website for all things java, recently conducted a study into which U.S. cities most love the quintessential fall beverage. Examining Google searches by city, Roasty Coffee found that Seattle ranked fourth for pumpkin spice latte lovers with 132 “pumpkin spice latte” searches per 100,000 people.
