Speeding driver hits car in Burien, killing woman

Washington State Patrol determined speeding, and drugs or alcohol, caused the crash on Saturday, Feb. 22.

BURIEN, Wash. — A 26-year-old man could face multiple charges after a fatal crash in Burien killed one woman over the weekend. 

The crash occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22 near South 128th Street. A King County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputy attempted to stop a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee for a felony warrant when the Jeep sped onto state Route 509. Police say the deputy did not pursue.
