While icy flurries didn’t materialize last week despite the near-freezing temperatures, snow in Seattle is still a possibility this week.
The National Weather Service (NWS) is currently predicting snow in lowland areas starting Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning as a weather system moves across western Washington.
However, accumulations are expected to remain small — less than an inch for most places below 500 feet in elevation.
