The King County Sheriff’s Office said the man surrendered after the building went up in flames.
BRYN MAWR-SKYWAY, Wash. — A man was taken into custody more than two hours after barricading himself inside a Skyway apartment and firing several gunshots as officers staged outside, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect surrendered after the building went up in flames, but investigators said it was too early to determine exactly how the fire started.
Nobody was injured.
Deputies responded to the 8700 block of South 114th Street around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday for a report of a court order violation.
