Shooting near Seattle Walgreens result of ‘dispute over money,’ police say

Police say a drug deal may have been involved in the interaction that led to the shooting.

SEATTLE — A man is in the hospital Thursday morning after being shot twice in the parking lot of a Seattle Walgreens, police say.

Seattle police officers located a man suffering from two gunshot wounds at a gas station across from a Walgreens in the Northgate neighborhood. Officers say the man had one gunshot wound in the right arm and one in the lower right back area. The man was treated at the scene and transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.
