Trader Joe’s will open its first Seattle store in over 13 years in Greenwood.
SEATTLE — The first Trader Joe’s to open in Seattle in more than 13 years will welcome customers Friday in the Greenwood neighborhood.
The 10,000-square-foot store at 8726 Greenwood Avenue opens for business at 9 a.m. A brief ceremony will be held minutes before the opening.
The store hired 40 new employees and transferred others from neighboring stores.
The interior of the store features art and signage by local employees and murals by local artist Stevie Shao.
