VAIRES-SUR-MARNE, France — Seattle’s Nevin Harrison won a medal in the canoe sprint single at the Paris Olympics Saturday morning.
Harrison placed second to secure a silver medal with a time of 44.13 in the 200m, just behind Canada’s Katie Vincent who finished with a time of 44.12 winning her the gold medal.
Harrison won the gold medal in Tokyo at just 19 years old, becoming the first American woman to win a canoe or kayak sprint title at the Olympics.
