Seattle’s final 8 p.m. sunset arrives tonight. Here’s when they will return in 2025

It will be months before the next sunset at 8 p.m.

SEATTLE — There still is just under a month of summer remaining on the calendar, but one notable feature of the season is set to end after Monday night.

August 26 will be the final day of an 8 p.m. or later sunset in the region until mid-April 2025, the National Weather Service (NWS) said on social media Monday.

April 15 was the first 8 p.m. sunset of 2024, and the NWS projects the same date in 2025 to be the next time the sun sets at 8 p.m. after Monday.
