January in Seattle has had a wet, windy and relatively warm start, but rest assured that winter isn’t over yet: a front from the Pacific will bring cooler temperatures this week, and maybe just a dusting of snow in the lowlands over the weekend
The National Weather Service (NWS) Seattle is predicting that temperatures will begin gradually cooling this week, with highs of 48 degrees Tuesday, 46 degrees Wednesday and continuing to drop to the lower 40s through the end of the week. Lows of 32 degrees are expected by Saturday morning in Seattle.
Those near-freezing temperatures could lead to a possible snow event in the lowland areas
