Seattle to host March Madness as rumors around NBA’s return swirl

Some future NBA stars are among the players who will be competing at Climate Pledge Arena this weekend.

SEATTLE — As rumors intensify around the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) potential return to Seattle, the city will host some likely future stars in the league as part of March Madness.

Climate Pledge Arena will host four games Friday and two Sunday in the men’s NCAA Tournament. Among the teams playing in Seattle are the University of Oregon and the University of Arizona, as well as a University of Memphis team coached by former NBA star Penny Hardaway.
