Seattle road design led to accident that caused bicyclist ‘catastrophic injuries,’ lawsuit alleges

A lawsuit alleges that a road redesign on Green Lake Drive North creates sight obstructions between bicyclists and drivers that could lead to dangerous collisions.

SEATTLE — The family of a Seattle man is suing the city over a car accident that caused their son “catastrophic injuries,” alleging the road design where the accident occurred obstructs the view for both bicyclists and drivers.

The lawsuit was filed Jan. 3 in King County Superior Court.
