Applications are now available for Seattle‘s preschool program, which is expanding to include more than a dozen new classrooms this fall, the city announced last week.
The Seattle Preschool Program will be able to accommodate up to 2,054 kids in pre-K in 129 classrooms for its 2021-2022 academic year.
“Our children’s access to quality early learning is now more important than ever. In a year when we are concerned students may be falling behind, and existing academic disparities widening, we are expanding access to all the opportunity that quality preschool gives to a child,” Mayor Jenny Durkan said in a statement.
