SEATTLE — Tariffs and trade wars have U.S. corporations rethinking where they make and sell their products. It’s one reason why a Seattle drone-maker caught the eye of a multi-billion-dollar tech company.
Just days after President Donald Trump revealed new tariffs on China, Illinois-based Motorola Solutions formed a strategic alliance with BRINC, an emergency drone manufacturer in Washington. The tech pioneers also contributed to a new $75 million fundraising round for BRINC, headquartered in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood.
