SEATTLE — A popular Pacific Northwest ice cream chain appears to be looking into adding a location in the heart of Seattle.
Salt and Straw, based in Portland, filed plans with the city of Seattle for a new location across from Pike Place Market last week. However, the permit requests were then withdrawn just a few days later. The reason for the withdrawal was listed as “site plan not ready yet for submittal.”
The location would have been at 102 Pike Street, which formerly housed a Starbucks. The plans indicated
