SEATTLE — Four Seattle firefighters lost their lives on January 5, 1995, in a devastating arson at the Mary Pang’s Food Products Warehouse. 

The incident, which shocked the city, was later revealed to be an intentional act committed by Martin Pang, the son of the warehouse owners. Pang set fire to the warehouse for insurance money.
