iSeeCars analyzed over 470,00 new and slightly used cars from model years 2020 and 2019 for sale in June 2021. The report found that the price gap between new and used cars narrowed significantly, with some used cars becoming more expensive than their newer models.
In early June, the average slightly used car cost 3.1% less than the new version of the same car. Compare that to early November 2020, when the difference between new and used models was 10.8%.
