Record crowds anticipated with Seattle’s Waterfront Park project finale

On a sunny spring day, big crowds showed up in what many community leaders believe is a preview of what’s to come this summer and beyond.

SEATTLE — As temperatures soared into the mid-60s on Friday, visitors lined the boardwalk and shops at Seattle’s Waterfront Park, which is expected to see record-breaking crowds when the 15-year overhaul is completed later this year.
