The Washington pet store was sued by the state in 2023 for selling sick puppies, trapping people into “predatory” loans and restricting honest online reviews.
SEATTLE — Following a 2023 lawsuit, Washington pet store Puppyland and its owners must pay the state $3.75 million and end its “illegal” advertising and sales tactics, according to the Washington state Attorney General’s Office.
On Friday, Attorney General Nick Brown announced the resolution. Puppyland must pay in installments by June 30, 2026, with 12% annual interest until the amount is fully paid.
