OLYMPIA, Wash. — A series of public hearings on gun-related legislative proposals brought dozens of citizens on both sides of the controversial topic to the Washington State Capitol Tuesday.
Legislators are proposing establishing a tax on guns and ammunition; limiting the amount of firearms someone can purchase in a month; and requiring guns to be locked up, unloaded, in cars and homes of gun owners.
