SHORELINE, Wash. — Opposing campaign signs are up in Shoreline and Kenmore for a special election on Tuesday, Feb. 11.
Voters will decide whether to create the Regional Fire Authority, which would combine the Shoreline and Northshore Fire Departments under one governing body.
A “yes” vote on Proposition 1 would combine Shoreline and Northshore fire departments with shared funding and administrative duties.
The ballot measure proposes creating the Shoreline Fire Department RFA, funded by a property tax of $0.70
