Once ubiquitous on sidewalks and street corners in every metropolitan city peddling the day’s headlines, newsstands have all but gone extinct in the past two decades as digital news took over the print industry. But two long-time business owners in Capitol Hill are banking on people’s nostalgia for flipping through the glossy pages of a magazine with their new business.
Big Little News opened this past month in the Capitol Hill neighborhood, taking over the space on East Pike Street once occupied by vintage store No Parking.
