Seattle Police are investigating after a replica Liberty Bell was stolen from the Evergreen Washelli Cemetery.
SEATTLE — A massive piece of history has been stolen from a Seattle cemetery. Seattle Police say a replica of the iconic Liberty Bell, weighing more than 2,000 pounds and valued at over $100,000, was stolen from Evergreen Washelli Cemetery on Saturday morning.
Seattle police say cemetery employees left briefly to get gas, and when they returned, they found the locks cut, the alarm tripped, and the bell missing.
