Police said an officer and the person shot got into a physical fight moments before the deadly shooting.
CENTRALIA, Wash. — The Washington State Office of Independent Investigations (OII) is investigating what led up to a deadly police shooting in Centralia on Sunday morning.
The Centralia Police Department was called just before 11 a.m. Sunday for a reported domestic dispute at a home in the 400 block of North Ash Street.
Police said an officer and the person shot got into a physical fight. According to police, the officer shot the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
