The Virginia Inn was set to close Sunday. But a last-minute decision will keep it open, for now.
SEATTLE — Operations at Pike Place Market’s oldest institution will continue this summer after it was set to close Sunday.
The current business tenant of the Virginia Inn received a last-minute “reprieve” of an eviction notice from the Pike Place Market Preservation and Development Authority, according to a post on social media. The restaurant will “resume business as usual.”
The restaurant and development authority will “find a path forward” for the business.
