VAIRES-SUR-MARNE, France — Two more Olympic medals were added to the University of Washington’s extensive history of success in the sport.
In the men’s four A, Logan Ullrich and New Zealand just missed out on a gold medal to the U.S. in a thrilling race. UIlrich and his team finished with a time of 5:49.88, while the Americans came in at 5:49.03. In the women’s four A final, Phoebe Spoors and New Zealand ended up with a bronze medal, finishing behind Great Britain and The Netherlands, respectively. Ullrich finished his career at UW in 2023, while Spoors graduated in 2017.
