DES MOINES, Wash. — One person is dead after an altercation on a King County Metro bus led to a shooting in Des Moines Monday afternoon.
The shooting occurred around 2:20 p.m. along the Rapid Ride A Line at Pacific Highway South near South 216th Street. The suspect remains on the loose, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the sheriff’s office, an altercation occurred between the suspect and victim before the shooting. Details on what led up to the altercation are under investigation.
