Off-duty Edmonds cop won’t face felony charges after she allegedly pointed gun at driver

EDMONDS, Wash. — An off-duty police officer arrested for allegedly pointing her pistol at an angry driver during a road rage incident in December won’t be facing felony charges, the Snohomish County Prosecutor’s Office said Wednesday. 

Prosecutors said they will not be filing felony charges against Melinda Leen.

However, Leen could face non-felony criminal charges if the Lynnwood municipal prosecuting attorney presses them against her.
