PORTLAND, Ore. — Within days of their elegant portraits being shared by the Oregon Humane Society, a voluptuous couple of cats have been adopted.
On Friday, OHS shared a media release about the two “chonky” cats, Yuki and Nikko. According to the shelter, the two 9-year-old cats came to OHS after their previous owner could no longer care for them.
Together, the two cats weighed about 45 pounds. Healthy adult domestic house cats typically weigh between 8 and 12 pounds, so the two together could easily outweigh four typical kitties.
