SHORELINE, Wash. — KING 5 has obtained new surveillance footage that appears to show a 50-year-old woman being shot moments after she tried to break up a fight between teenagers.
The footage captured the deadly encounter in the Ballinger Homes apartment complex in Shoreline on May 18.
A tower-mounted camera captured a dispute between two groups of teens. One teenager, later identified as 16-year-old Jaden Taylor, a resident of the complex, is seen pulling out what appears to be a pistol and pointing at another teen.
Moments later, 50-year-old BillyJo Perkins, a neighbor who was walking her dog, tries to intervene. A scuffle then ensued and Perkins was shot and
