They were found before 9 p.m. Wednesday.
OLYMPIA, Wash. — Two Olympia elementary school students were found safe after they were missing for nearly 8 hours Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Olympia Police Department, the two fifth graders were located before 9 p.m. Earlier in the day, they left Hansen Elementary School unsupervised at around 1 p.m.
School officials said once they discovered the two were missing, they immediately called police.
Details about their whereabouts during the time were not released.
