The Mill Creek Community Food Bank is hoping they can rally their community to help them repair and move forward.
MILL CREEK, Wash. — A tough break, for a longstanding Snohomish County food bank dedicated to feeding the community. It’s asking for help, after a massive tree fell onto its roof during last week’s windstorm.
“That tree spanned all the way across… The container as you can see took the brunt of it and then from there it landed and pierced, so up on the roof; you’ll see holes where the branches went through,” said Tom Sweeney, the executive director of “Hope Creek Charitable Foundation.”
