MERCER ISLAND, Wash. — Because images “possess the power to reshape how we see the world,” a group of artists came together to share their stories and photographs to celebrate the talents and culture within Afrocrentric communities.
A new exhibit called Weaving Stories, kicked off with a Friday night opening on Jan. 11 at SZ Gallery – the same day as the first “Mercer Island First Friday Art Walk.”
