SEATTLE — A man who allegedly shoved two teen youth hockey referees to the ice during a game at a Seattle rink over the weekend now faces two assault charges.
Uriel Isaac Cortes Gonzalez, 42, was charged Tuesday with two counts of assault after video showed him walking onto the ice at the Kraken Community Iceplex and pushing two referees down.
The incident occurred during a 12U rec hockey game on Sunday, and the two officials who were shoved are 13 and 14
