Man suspected of previous eluding incidents runs red light, crashes in Belltown

SEATTLE — A man suspected of previously eluding police was arrested Thursday after driving through a red light, losing control and crashing into other vehicles.

The man, in his 50s or 60s, surrendered to Seattle police in the city’s Belltown neighborhood.

KING 5 is not naming the suspect because he has not been charged.

Around 10:40 a.m., a Seattle police cruiser equipped with a license plate reader spotted a vehicle connected to a call of eluding police in Auburn and two eluding incidents in Seattle.
