Man charged in deadly DUI crash in Burien had 2 previous DUIs

“(The defendant) cannot or will not refrain from becoming impaired on drugs and alcohol and then endangering the community,” charging documents read.

BURIEN, Wash. — The man accused of causing a fatal crash that took the life of a beloved director in Seattle had two previous warrants for driving under the influence, according to charging documents filed in the case. 

The defendant, identified as 27-year-old Edgar Gonzalez Moreno, entered a plea of not guilty to charges of vehicular homicide, vehicular assault, felony hit and run and eluding a police vehicle at an arraignment hearing Wednesday morning. He is currently in jail on a $750,000 bail.
