LACEY, Wash. — Olympia police arrested a man Thursday morning accused of beating and raping a Lacey woman.
According to investigators, Ryan Bezon repeatedly hit a 63-year-old woman with a rock before sexually assaulting her early on Oct. 9, the day before his arrest.
Lacey Police Department Sgt. Jeremy Knight said officers described the attack as “egregious.”
A surveillance camera from a nearby business captured the incident, said Knight.
