BELLEVUE, Wash. — A man in his 80s was arrested for allegedly fatally stabbing his wife inside a Bellevue senior living facility Monday afternoon.
According to the Bellevue Police Department, officers responded to Sunrise Senior Living on Northeast 20th Street around 1:50 p.m. after 911 callers reported hearing screams from the residence.
When officers entered the scene, they found an 86-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds to the chest. She died at the scene. They quickly arrested the victim’s husband, an 87-year-old man.
