Volunteers and supplies are being sent from Washington state to help those impacted in Florida.
FIFE, Wash. — On Wednesday, World Vision focused on getting items like generators, bottled water, and blankets out of its Fife warehouse and on a truck bound for Florida as Hurricane Milton threatened the state.
The nonprofit organization is on a mission to send help and hope. The supplies are being shipped today, and Roberta Taylor, a World Vision site manager, will be headed south Oct. 10.
