Flights from Los Angeles arrived at SEA Airport on Wednesday with dozens more tentatively scheduled over the next several days.
SEATAC, Wash. — As wildfires tear through the Los Angeles area, dozens of flights from LAX made their way to Seattle on Wednesday, giving hundreds of passengers a birds-eye view of the devastation.
“You could just see it on the mountainside. It was cut in. Smoke was billowing out,” said Abigail Ennis. “It was terrifying the pictures she has… it’s a lot.”
Ennis, who lives in Tacoma, arrived at SEA with friend and business partner Mikaela Seelye of Tacoma.
