Brodey D. Brownell, who was 17 at the time of the stabbing and charged as an adult, pled guilty to first-degree murder and first-degree assault earlier this year.
LAKEWOOD, Wash. — A 19-year-old was sentenced Friday to 25 years in prison for murder after he pled guilty to stabbing a man in the parking lot of an apartment complex in 2023.
Brodey D. Brownell was sentenced to 23 years in prison for the crimes with an additional two years for a weapon enhancement. Brownell was also sentenced to three years in community custody.
