KENT, Wash. — Police said they are investigating a sexual assault Monday afternoon at Kent’s Lake Fenwick Park.
The Kent Police Department (KPD) said the assault happened along a trail near the water between 3 and 4:30 p.m. Investigators believe many people were in the area at the time of the assault, including joggers, dog walkers and fishermen, who may have witnessed the incident or interacted with the victim afterward. Police asked anyone at the park at that time who saw anything suspicious to speak to law enforcement.
