KENT, Wash. — Kent police identified and arrested a homicide suspect from Alabama who was hiding in the city.
In a release, the Kent Police Department (KPD) says it recently received a tip that a suspect in a Tuscaloosa County homicide of 37-year-old Cornelis Smith was staying in the city in December. KPD says law enforcement in Alabama has identified the suspect as the shooter in the homicide.
