Jury reaches $100 million verdict against Monsanto over chemical exposure at Monroe school

SEATTLE — Students and parents from a Monroe education center will receive $100 million after a King County jury reached a verdict against Monsanto over the harm caused by “forever chemicals.”

Sky Valley Education Center was built with materials found to have toxic polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), causing numerous health problems in teachers and students including serious neurological injuries.
