Officially a part of Whatcom County, Point Roberts is a tiny exclave home to approximately 900 residents. It sits just below the 49th parallel on the Tsawwassen peninsula and is only accessible by land through Canada.
That’s because Point Roberts residents are now allowed to travel to Delta — a city in British Columbia just across the border — to buy groceries and other items without having to submit proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test.
